FDAgri is an organization that grants non-refundable (grant-making organization) to organizations that have expertise in community (or local, or rural) development, research, and advocacy, communication, and education.

We need to work with organizations that share common values and principles, with relevant expertise and history, that can support the impact that the project will have on the community.

Programs dedicated to small farmers in rural communities in vegetable production areas.

We believe in the power of the market to lead positive changes in the agricultural and economic sectors. Moving to the professional market area increases the quality and delivery capacity of crops. We develop programs designed to provide a real perspective on semi-subsistence vegetables, through access to retailers, the integration of modern technologies into the cultivation of vegetables and fruits, and the process of conversion to organic.

We aim to mobilize programs in approximately 15 rural communities. Here, FDAgri resources will be directed towards equipping farmers with the necessary knowledge and monitoring the project to ensure sustainability in the community in the long term.

Dedicated research and advocacy programs

We want to give a strong and credible voice to small and medium-sized farmers in Romania. Our working model involves the transmission of successful agricultural models to as many rural communities as possible. Regarding the expansion of development programs, we turn our attention to documentation and information. Thus, at FDAgri, we provide resources for testing solutions and presenting successful results, which can benefit rural Romania. We connect with the authorities, but also with potential partners who contribute to the development effort by multiplying the tested, successful solutions.

Programs for communicating successful models and promoting local products

At FDAgri, we believe in partnership. Mutual support comes with sharing community experiences, tradition, results, but also by identifying opportunities for the association. We turn our attention to encouraging the relationship between small and medium-sized farmers that we want to bring together, to expose their work, experience, and success.

Closer to rural communities, to the vegetable sector, to local products we want to bring consumers from urban areas as well. We bring together the tradition and love of the earth with the desire to eat healthy, fresh, local. We bring stories of the countryside, farm activities and their impact on our lives, closer to the people of the cities, every day.

Programs for children and young people in rural communities included in programs for farmers

Being a farmer in Romania must be a reason to be proud. And a viable option for the future. For FDAgri, the next generation of farmers will not only combine farmer skills and knowledge, with passion and desire for land work, but also with entrepreneurial education. Students from rural Romanian communities will have access to training programs for a successful future in agriculture.
